Best Time to Surf

Seasons and tides

Dry season

April – October

The most consistent stretch, with reliable trade-wind swells and offshore mornings. Peak season for the main point running long.

Wet season

November – March

Fewer crowds and still surfable most days, with a higher chance of onshore afternoon wind and occasional flat spells. Mornings are usually your best window.

Tide

Mid to high tide

Medewi's main point generally works best from mid to high tide, when the wave has enough water to connect through the inside sections. Check with our team for the day's conditions.
